Defibrillator Fundraising Campaign

Defibrillator Fundraising Campaign

In response to the tragic news of a woman’s death in the town centre this month, Woodspring House is raising money to purchase a Defibrillator. It will be kept outside the building and available for anyone in the community to use.
The nearest one to Woodspring is at The Library or Hempton Village Hall, which are at least a 5/6 minute walk each way. 10 minutes is too long and not quick enough to safe a life if someone should need it. Check our fundraiser on Go Fund Me here.
Our target is £2500, this will buy us a very good quality one along with the box and cover. DJB Electrical in Fakenham have already offered to install it completely free – amazing. Despite only running for a few weeks, we’ve nearly made our total. Plus, we’ve teamed up with The General Townsend Club in Fakenham, who have also been fundraising for a defibrillator and put our money together. So with it all together we are so close to our target.
As it has been a massively popular fundraiser we are thinking of buying two and will put the second in the centre of town in the phone box.
To raise money we also have our Christmas Raffle – please check out Facebook Page here for more info on buying tickets.
Finally thank you so much to everyone who has donated so far, we have been amazed and humbled by your generosity given the tough economic times we are living in. Please share widely with the Fakenham community, friends and family.
